Our family has not had a reunion since 1991 to my knowledge and I think t is time to do it again.  My cousins and I will remember having hot and sticky reunions at Indian Springs State Park near Jackson, Georgia.  While it might have been hot and sticky, we will also tell you we had a great time!

The cousins should have received a letter from me back before Christmas letting everyone know the date and place so I will not spend space here on that.   I just hope they passed it one to their children and grandchildren to let each one know how much we all would like to see them at the Reunion July 12, 2014 at Indian Springs State Park near Jackson, Georgia.

The purpose of this Blog is for any and all family members to add pictures of their own.  Not only old pictures, even though they are great and sometime funny, but present day pictures of their family.  My cousins and I are now the “old People” with children and grandchildren.  Lets see some pictures of them!!!!!

The "Old picture Box"

Mama Smith was quite a Grandmother!   I wish she could see her family now.  Her husband (Cellus) past away when My mother (Sarah, the oldest child)  was about 16 years old.  Mama Smith worked in the textile mill supported and raised her family in the east Griffin Mill village.   She did it before the days of welfare and WIC Programs.  They do not make women like her anymore.  Who is on her back porch with her many years ago I do not know.  Do you?

This picture was taken before Gene decided to grow a mustache.  Can't decide which is more handsome, with or without it.

This was at Christmas but I do not know which one.  Can someone tell me who I am holding in this picture?

The 'Old Picture Box"

Does this look like a battle hardened Marine to be.

Isn't he abut the cutest thing you ever saw.

The "OLd Picture Box"

Does this look like a battle hardened Marine to be?  Somehow this picture got left out of the ones for Aunt Anna's family.  Along with the others I do not have.

THe 'OLd Picture Box"

Like others, Uncle Marvin took pictures of each family and Frank and Janice and little Pete was there also.  Pete was so cute as a little boy!!   Maybe that is why Debbie fell for him.  Now we just have to get Pete and Debbie to add pictures of their little children.

The "Old Picture Box"

The "Old Box" only had this picture of Big Bobby.  None of my Aunt Georgia.  Gene and Sara Ann show up in a couple of the group pictures.

The 'Old Picture" Box.

Big Jim and His Bride Ruth had two beautiful daughters.  I ma sure they can add pictures to the Blog!!!  And Pictures of the kids and all their families.

OLd Pictures in the "Box"

These are some of the Sarah (Smith) Hooper family.  In no particular order I might mention.

Old Picitures from teh "Box"

These pictures are from the Anna (Smith) Smith family in the old box.  Can you guess who each is??

There are none of Tommy or Erlene in my 'Old Box" .  I am sure Tommy and Erlene can correct that situation in this Blog.
